The marketing business was first establish under the leadership of a humble Businessman named Mr. Benito Tan, being born with a sharp business sense indulging himself into venture like store operations. The family has established one of the biggest and the solid mini-mart in the City of Lipa, Batangas. Having been into this type of business over a decade, it has took for a new and brighter direction.
By the month of October 1993 under the leadership of Edgardo Latorre Tan, the youngest and the most dynamic heir of Benito Tan. The family business under the helm of “Eddie” as friends and associates call him, ventured into the marketing business and distribution of grocery items from snacks foods to canned goods. And that was the start of something big. Having to start from small capital and limited number of suppliers DOUBLE B MARKETING slowly made its presence felt into the battle ground of distribution. After almost 11 years in the field of distribution, we encountered difficulties and trials that has made us wiser in terms of handling business crisis. We surpasses those trial times, the economic and political turmoil the country was into, the uncertainly of the business climate that prevails. But we have to move forward, we were aggressive and were bold enough to implement changes with our system. By mid- 2005 we launch the company under the banner name UPHIGH MARKETING AND FREIGHT SERVICES. Right now, being backed by no less than the top suppliers industry.
Big multi-national and expanding consumers started to take notice. The growing market was in an upscale trend that the company has to continue expanding and modernizing its operation from its existing manpower, computation of all systems, additional capital investments, and warehouse and delivery trucks. Now we have two branches in Oriental and Occidental Mindoro.
We noticed the rising needs and demands in trucking and freight services at the same line of our business. We invest equipment utilities. Our manpower who is responsible and dedicated to their work and willing to serve and to grow the business. The trust and confident of our clients make us stronger and brought us our obligation to another level. We continue the best of our ability to satisfy all business sectors around us.
