Job Description

Job Title: API Product Manager

Work Location: Remote (UTC+8, globally distributed team)

Number of Openings: 1



Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall planning and design of the platform’s API product ecosystem, including REST APIs, WebSockets, and other interfaces, with a focus on serving B2B clients such as institutional users, market makers, and quantitative trading teams.
  • Communicate directly with institutional clients to gather API use cases and requirements, and optimize API documentation, authentication mechanisms, rate-limiting strategies, and error code systems to enhance the developer experience.
  • Collaborate with backend, trading systems, and risk control teams to drive the development, testing, deployment, and iteration of API products, ensuring performance and stability under high concurrency.
  • Continuously monitor API product trends at major CEXs and DEXs, analyze the strengths and weaknesses of competing products, and develop competitive product solutions.
  • We are looking for someone who can help build an API product ecosystem from the ground up, including technology selection, documentation site development, sample code repositories, and community support processes.


Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; majors in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields are preferred; fluent in both Chinese and English.
  • 1–5 years of API product experience, with at least one period focused on institutional/trading terminal API products for CEXs (centralized exchanges) or DEXs.
  • Familiarity with common trading API modules such as order management, market data feeds, account and funds interfaces, and risk control limits.
  • Understanding of API authentication methods (API keys, signatures, IP whitelists, etc.) and security best practices.
  • Basic understanding of trading products, including order types such as market orders, limit orders, stop-loss orders, and scheduled orders, as well as concepts like matching engines and order book depth.
  • Strong logical thinking and documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear API documentation, interface specifications, and examples.
  • Highly self-motivated, comfortable with remote collaboration, adept at communicating across time zones, and takes ownership of the product.

  • Experience in building an API product from scratch (from requirements analysis to launch and operation).
