Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and Tier 1 Certified Insurance Broker Assistant to support our Australian-based brokerage. Unlike standard administrative roles, you will play a critical part in giving professional general advice, handling complex policy renewals, endorsements, and technical client queries while ensuring 100% compliance with ASIC regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Management: Process new business applications, renewals, and mid-term adjustments via platforms like Winbeat & SCTP.
  • Claims Advocacy: Manage end-to-end claims, acting as the liaison between the client and the Australian insurer to ensure timely settlements.
  • Compliance: Maintain meticulous records in the CRM, ensuring all "Best Interest Duty" requirements are documented.
  • Client Engagement: Handle high-level queries from Australian clients regarding policy coverage and premium funding options.


Qualifications & Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Completed RG146 Tier 1 – Insurance Broking
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Australian general insurance broking
  • Strong knowledge handling SME- Business Pack and Commercial insurance products (Professional Indemnity, Property, Liability, PI, Motor, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  •  Experience working Australian hours


Preferred Skills

  • Experience using Australian broking platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently in a remote setup
