Tasks & Activities
Preparation of monthly financial reports covering profit and loss, internal management reports and cash flow statements
Collaborates with Division Managers with budget preparation and forecasting.
Coordinate budget schedule and review budgets received from Division Managers
Provide mid-year budget projection and updates against actual expenses
Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reports.
Managing the general ledger including overseeing the monthly banking and intercompany reconciliations
Provide backup for A/P, A/R and G/L posting and month-end reporting.
Perform commission computation, earnings analysis, and data validation.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Providing regular updates to management regarding company finances.
Other tasks related to the current designation assigned by the superior.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
Time-management abilities
