Develop designs for ships, boats, submarines, and offshore structures, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and performance criteria.
Create detailed technical drawings, models, and blueprints.
Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to generate design schematics and simulations.
Perform stability analysis and hydrodynamic simulations to ensure vessel safety, efficiency, and performance.
Conduct stress and structural analysis to assess the strength and integrity of hulls and other components.
Ensure the materials used in the construction meet safety and durability standards.
Collaborate with other engineers to develop the propulsion, electrical, and control systems for ships.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
Skills:
Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks).
Strong knowledge of marine systems, hydrodynamics, and structural mechanics.
Good understanding of environmental and safety regulations.
Project management skills, including budget management and scheduling.
Analytical skills for conducting simulations and stress tests.
Experience: Prior experience in the marine industry, whether in shipbuilding, ship design, or offshore structures, is highly beneficial.
Certifications: Some roles may require professional certifications, such as being a Chartered Engineer with relevant accreditation.
