About the role



This is a full-time Quantity Surveyor role with Wei Yuan Construction Management Inc' based in Greenhills, San Juan City Metro Manila. As a key member of the estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and managing project costs to ensure the success of construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Developing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs
• Analysing project specifications, drawings and other documentation to identify cost drivers and potential risks
• Preparing and monitoring project budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings
• Providing regular cost reports and advising project managers on financial status and forecast
• Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Assisting with tender preparations and bid submissions
• Supporting project teams throughout the construction phase to ensure projects are delivered on budget

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, equipment and cost drivers
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in using cost estimating software and project management tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
