Android Developer- Onsite Arrangement at BGC Taguig

• High Chance of passing rate if has 5 to 7 exp in Android, Kotlin Java.
• Android SDK, Jetpack Components, Room, View Model, Coroutines, (Git) and CI/CD,UI/UX, REST APIs, Retrofit, Dagger, Google Play Store

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and high-performance Android applications.
• Implement clean, scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries for backend connectivity.
• Monitor app performance and debug issues to ensure stability and responsiveness.
• Optimize memory usage, CPU consumption, and network calls for better performance.
• Implement strategies to avoid ANRs (Application Not Responding) and crashes.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define feature requirements and deliver within timelines.
• Collaborate with QA for testing, bug fixing, and final deployment.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality across the team.
• Ensure adherence to Google Play Store policies, including guidelines for gambling apps (if applicable).
• Implement secure coding practices to protect user data and prevent vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest Android frameworks, tools, and libraries.
• Explore and implement new technologies like Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, and Dependency Injection frameworks.
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to team growth.
• Take ownership of key projects and ensure timely delivery with quality.
• Guide and mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and productivity.

• 5 -7 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack Components, Room, View Model, and Coroutines.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with material design principles and UI/UX standards.
• Expertise in integrating REST APIs and third-party libraries (e.g., Retrofit, Dagger).
• Knowledge of Google Play Store submission process and release management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
