JOB PURPOSE The Corporate Lawyer will ensure that the company complies and operates in conformity with legal and regulatory requirements in support of corporate goals and objectives. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: I. Compliance to Legal and Regulatory Requirements Acts as a resource person on regulatory items to support the company’s business continuity. Develops programs covering identification, monitoring and remediation to create a compliant business operation.

Develops and updates documentary requirements of the company relating to AMLA, CISA, FATCA, etc. such as, but not limited to, forms, policies, manuals, guidelines. II. Regulatory Submissions Submits timely, complete, and accurate reports to regulators to address legal and regulatory requirements under AMLA, CFT, CISA, FATCA, etc.

Monitors regulatory compliance of other business units and conducts Compliance Review thereof for timely, complete, and accurate compliance of the company. III. Future-proofing Strategy Provides strategic solutions by anticipating upcoming and future business requirements/issues/challenges to future-proof the company’s compliance to regulatory requirements.

This includes activities such as updating and digitizing the monitoring capability of the Governance and Compliance unit. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE ROLE: Must be a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines with at least two (2) years of experience in handling and implementing AMLA Regulations and at least two (2) years in any related field. Extensive knowledge and deep understanding of the operations of the company and the industry in which the Company operates.

In-depth knowledge and sound understanding of laws and regulations that are relevant to the Company’s operation. Ability to analyze and interpret laws and regulations and provide appropriate course of action. Thoroughness in accomplishing tasks and efficiently allocating cognitive resources regardless of the complexity of the subject.

Has a disciplined approach to gathering, recording and presenting required evidence for any assigned task. Ability to introduce or integrate new technologies into compliance operations. Must be willing to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
