Global Art Home Collection Corp. is a company engaged in the business of importing furniture throughout the whole Asean region. Started in 1989 the company has it’s humble beginning in Binondo, Manila, where it rented just a small warehouse less than 20 square meter selling kitchenware, plasticware, and glassware. By 1991 it added furniture to it’s existing line of product. During that time, the company is just engaged in buy & sell, it gets all of its product from the big importer then sell it to the small retailer. Seeing that there is a potential and a big demand for knockdown furniture. It then started importing furniture from Taiwan in 1994 by then the company have move to a bigger warehouse in Sta. Mesa, Manila. That year the company also decided to drop it’s existing product line of kitchenware, plasticware, and glassware and concentrate solely on the furniture business instead. The year 1995 to 1997 can be said to be the growing years of the company. The economy is good, construction is booming, the real estates industry is at it’s heights, people are buying houses and condo. Such that there is a big demand for furniture, specially knockdown, do it yourself, laminated furniture. During these years we starts importing our furniture from Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
