About Company
USPD Savings and Credit Cooperative, formally known as United Sugarcane Planters of Davao Savings and Credit Cooperative, originated as the savings and credit arm of the USPD Multi-Purpose Cooperative in 1991. It was established to address financial vulnerabilities brought on by calamities and economic instability in the sugarcane sector, becoming a registered credit cooperative in 2003. In November 2011, it adopted its current name and joined the Cooperative Deposit Insurance System (CODIS) under COOP-PESOS standards. The Cooperative offers a diverse suite of savings and loan services tailored to individuals, families, and microenterprises in Mindanao. These include youth-oriented savings clubs, time deposits, agricultural and entrepreneurial loans, salary and vehicle financing, and specialized products for OFWs and pensioners.
