Job Description
- Supervising and Managing the Accounting
- Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including managing, mentoring, and developing junior accounting staff.
- Preparing and reviewing financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), conducting financial analysis, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (like IFRS), local regulations, and company policies.
- Managing the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and consolidations.
- Coordinating and completing annual audits.
- Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls, identifying areas for process improvement, and recommending solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance .
- CPA license (preferred) .
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices .
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite .
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills .
- Leadership and management experience .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis .
- Knowledge of relevant Philippine laws and regulations .
