Accounting Specialist

We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist / Officer to join our team in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. If you're proficient in General Accounting, well-versed in Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations, and skilled in Tax Compliance, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

As our Accounting Officer, you'll be essential in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and ensuring full compliance with Philippine tax laws. Your primary duties will include:

• General Accounting:
• Handling the full cycle of accounting, including preparing and analyzing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Preparing accurate and timely financial statements (e.g., Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income).
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• BIR and Tax Compliance:
• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation and filing of all necessary BIR forms (e.g., VAT, Percentage Tax, Withholding Taxes) and related financial reports.
• Computing and filing Income Tax Returns (Annual and Quarterly).
• Handling tax-related inquiries, assessments, and audits from the BIR.
• Staying updated with the latest BIR regulations and tax reforms.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (CPA preferred, but not required).
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of proven experience as an Accounting Staff or Officer.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of General Accounting principles is a must.
• Tax Knowledge: Familiarity and practical experience with BIR regulations and local tax compliance is essential.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero).
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
