Description

  1. Receive and ensure the completeness of payment requests such as purchase orders, billing/invoices, fuel requisitions, etc.
  2. Enter invoice details and accurately code expenses into the Accounting system (QuickBooks and SAP).
  3. Print checks and obtain necessary approvals. Release/issue checks based on schedule. 
  4. Perform journal entries for all liquidations to accurately record expenses and close the accountable cash advance.
  5. Process the following documents for submission to BIR and ensure timely payment: 
  • Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source (Form 2307).
  • Monthly Remittance Form for Creditable Income Taxes Withheld (Expanded) (Form 0619-E).
  • Quarterly Remittance Return of Creditable Income Taxes Withheld (For 1601EQ).

6.Monitor checks by reviewing and updating bank balances using bank statements as a reference and generate corresponding reports.

7.Conduct bank transactions, including depositing collections, making payments to suppliers, and cashing checks for cash advances

8.File accounts payable documents systematically for easy retrieval and record-keeping.

9.Collaborate with other departments, such as Purchasing, Operations, HR and Admin, to ensure smooth invoice processing and payment workflows.

10.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and record-keeping.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information and transactions.
