Description

  • Performing maintenance and repair on customer vehicles
  • Identifying problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment
  • Explaining automotive repairs and issues and providing great customer service
  • Planning repair procedures using charts, manuals, and experience
  • Testing the functionality of parts and systems

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technology program preferred.
  • Months or years of experience as an auto technician or mechanic.
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, manual and electronic, for vehicle inspection and repair.
