Ironclad Ledger is a blockchain development company focused on building sophisticated solutions across Ethereum, Solana, and custom blockchain networks. We work with DeFi, NFTs, cross-chain infrastructure, and more to advance the Web3 ecosystem.

We're expanding our development team and seeking Lead Solidity & Smart Contract Developers to architect and secure the foundational smart contracts for our projects. This is a remote role, available for both full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) engagement.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy secure, efficient, and gas-optimized smart contracts for DeFi protocols, cross-chain systems, and other advanced blockchain applications.
• Conduct and oversee rigorous smart contract audits, including code reviews, security assessments, and formal verification where applicable.
• Lead the design of smart contract systems, ensuring scalability, upgradeability, and seamless integration with other components.
• Establish and enforce smart contract development standards, security practices, and testing frameworks for the team.
• Provide deep technical leadership, mentor developers, and stay ahead of the latest advancements in Ethereum, Layer 2 solutions, and smart contract security.

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience with key Ethereum standards (EIPs/ERCs), including but not limited to ERC-20, ERC-4626, ERC-721, and an understanding of related patterns like ERC-1967 proxies or ERC-3156 flash loans.
• Mastery of Solidity and smart contract development tools (Hardhat/Foundry, Truffle).
• Experience with testing frameworks and a commitment to comprehensive testing (unit, integration, fork).
• Ability to design secure architectures from first principles and a keen eye for identifying subtle vulnerabilities and economic attack vectors.
• Strong communication skills for articulating complex designs, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
