Job Description

This role will spearhead consumer ideation, crafting the brand/product, market entry strategy, product development, go-to-market strategy, and integrated marketing plans to ensure new products generate awareness, conversion, and retention among dealers and end consumers. These roles are tasked to ensure on-time launch of new products or brands that deliver against targets and generate profitability.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Thinking

  • Develop brand strategy, roadmap, and craft marketing plans aligned to strategy.
  • Recommend new go-to-market strategies to help create brand demand/credibility and deepen consumer engagement and innovation roadmap.
  • Identify best practices and seek out innovative ideas and use them as a springboard for brand planning.


Brand & Project Management

  • Develop, implement, and manage assigned new products, mindful of the timetables, and driven by a deep understanding of consumer needs, company strategic goals, and financial hurdles.
  • Analyze market intelligence data as input for brand plans.
  • Identify and summarize industry trends and implications to the brand.
  • Analyze products and competitive brands to recommend how to gain competitive edge and brand differentiation.


Planning & Execution

  • Execute flawlessly and on time; identify and focus on critical initiatives that deliver maximum business results.
  • Ensure and deliver quality initiatives and executions of assigned new products and conduct post evaluations to assess performance vs. targets and identify key learnings and corrective actions.
  • Integrate marketing plans with budgets to establish sales, market shares, and profitability targets for launch implementations.


Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of solid experience in end-to-end product development and brand management, ideally with background in Beauty, Personal Care, or Health categories from the FMCG industry.
  • Able to develop and operationalize go-to-market strategies and plans.
  • Experience in spearheading a new product launch (from insight to idea to commercialization).
  • Good communication skills and confidence in brand presentation and coordination with purchasing and suppliers.
  • Flexible to report onsite from Mondays to Fridays in Ortigas Center, Pasig (office-based), and as needed in Sumulong Highway, Antipolo (warehouse).
