Summary:

The Business Development Sr. Analyst (Marketplace Seller Acquisition) plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by actively seeking out and engaging potential partner-sellers within the ecommerce landscape. This dynamic individual will be involved in lead generation initiatives, conduct persuasive sales calls, and deliver impactful product pitches that result in closed deals and long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the digital marketplace.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and cultivate potential leads through a diverse range of channels, including but not limited to cold calling, email outreach, social media engagement, networking events, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Lead Qualification: Skillfully assess and qualify leads based on their business needs, pain points, budget, and decision-making authority to ensure a focused and efficient sales approach.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing customers by providing personalized attention, understanding their unique requirements, and offering tailored solutions that address their specific challenges.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Skillfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable deals that align with company objectives and customer expectations.
  • Sales Calls & Presentations: Conduct engaging and persuasive sales calls and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products or services, highlighting their key benefits and competitive advantages.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of proven success in a sales role, preferably within the ecommerce or technology sector.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Sales Acumen: A deep understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets) and other relevant sales and productivity tools.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and cultivate lasting relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to overcome challenges.
  • Self-Motivation: A high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and drive to succeed in a fast-paced and competitive environment.


Pluses:

  • CRM Expertise: Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and lead generation tools.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in a relevant industry vertical, such as retail, fashion, or consumer goods.
  • Ecommerce Knowledge: Understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and online sales channels.
  • Multilingualism: Fluency in additional Filipino and English, particularly those relevant to target markets.
