Job Description
- Purchase seafood from trusted suppliers, fish farmers, or auction markets.
- Ensure seafood meets quality standards (e.g. size, freshness, and weight).
- Monitor seafood market trends and price fluctuations to buy at optimal rates.
- Build and maintain relationships with seafood vendors, suppliers, and fishpond operators.
- Schedule and coordinate regular supply deliveries.
- Resolve issues related to supply delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers to meet target margins.
- Compare multiple sources to get the best quality at the lowest price.
