Description
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, brakes, and transmissions.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Inspect vehicles for safety and performance issues.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle needs.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High School or Senior High School diploma.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in automotive repair.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in Automotive Servicing NCII, automobile maintenance, test ride/drive, automobile painting, vehicle survey, and damage assessment.
- Working Conditions: Typically work in garages or service centers, often exposed to noise and mechanical hazards.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a passion for vehicles.
