Description

Job Title: Cash Property Management Officer

Reports to: General Manager


Responsible for managing and controlling cash and other valuable properties, ensuring accurate accounting, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and procedures.


Cash Management:

  • Receive, count, and verify cash deposits
  • Manage cash vaults, ATMs, and cash dispensers
  • Maintain accurate cash records and reports

Property Management:

  • Oversee storage, security, and maintenance of valuable properties (e.g., jewelry, art, etc.)
  • Conduct regular inventory and audits
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures

Accounting and Reporting:

  • Prepare and reconcile cash statements and reports
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and balances
  • Analyze and investigate discrepancies

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and threats
  • Implement control measures to prevent losses

Team Support:

  • Provide training and guidance to staff on cash handling and property management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations

Specific Tasks:

  • Count and verify cash deposits
  • Manage cash vault combinations and access
  • Conduct regular cash audits and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate records of valuable properties
  • Prepare and submit reports to management
  • Investigate and resolve cash discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams

Requirements

  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software
