Description

  • Greet customers as they approach the register.
  • Scan or enter product information to calculate totals and process transactions.
  • Handle different payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments).
  • Provide receipts, bag items, and thank customers for their business.
  • Assist with returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies.
  • Maintain an organized and clean checkout area

Requirements

  • Basic math skills for handling money and calculating change.
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system or cash register.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy with transactions.
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy times.
