Senior Category Analyst opportunity to be based in
Manila, Phillippines to be a part of the dynamic team!
This position is hybrid and based in BGC, Manila - work hours are 6am to 3pm Manila time. You will be expected to work 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage relationships with data providers; ensure consistent data integrity and accuracy.
- Analyze customer, shopper, and consumer data (Circana, Quantium, loyalty data, internal scan data).
- Deliver actionable insights through clear, concise storytelling from complex data sets.
- Support category reviews and assist in identifying growth opportunities for both the client and retail partners.
- Develop and update internal reports, such as NPD tracking, promotional uplift, and market updates.
- Collaborate closely with a team members on a variety of ad hoc and planned initiatives.
- Handle planogramming and space optimization using category tools.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in category management especially in insights or analytics roles preferably in FMCG or Manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with Nielsen data, IRI /Circana and Quantium and interface are desirable
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret trends and derive strategic recommendations in operations and Sales & Marketing.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for data
- Able to manage high volumes of requests and juggle multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team
- A curious and driven professional who can translate data into compelling business stories
