Job Title: Chef Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chef to join our team as a Chef Consultant. This is a dual-role position combining sales and consultancy. You will serve as the primary contact for clients seeking to design and build professional kitchens and food service spaces, while also delivering high-level chef services such as menu development, food tastings, and operational guidance.


This role is ideal for seasoned chefs with a strong network in the hospitality industry and a proven background in top-tier hotels, luxury restaurants, VIP dining, or private chef settings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for prospective and existing clients looking to build new kitchens, renovate food service spaces, or open new restaurant concepts.
  • Understand client visions and translate them into actionable kitchen solutions in collaboration with design and build teams.
  • Generate leads and develop relationships with chefs, restaurateurs, hospitality groups, architects, and investors.
  • Present proposals, close deals, and manage accounts from project conception to handover.
  • Maintain a high-touch relationship with clients and ensure exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide culinary expertise including kitchen workflow optimization, menu development, and operational planning.
  • Conduct food tastings, kitchen walkthroughs, and consult on equipment selection from a chef’s perspective.
  • Guide clients in curating menu offerings that align with their brand, concept, and market position.
  • Deliver post-project support in kitchen opening, staff training, and operational launch.


Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a reputable culinary school or equivalent culinary training.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional kitchens, preferably from 5-star hotels, luxury restaurants, or fine dining establishments.
  • Experience in a leadership role is required.
  • Strong portfolio in VIP dining, private chef work, or high-profile culinary events.
  • Deep understanding of kitchen operations, workflows, and food service trends.
  • Strong client relationship skills.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with kitchen designers, project managers, and fabrication teams.
  • Existing network within the food & hospitality industry is a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, food tastings, and project launches.
