Job Summary:

The Project Site Nurse is responsible for overseeing the health and safety of workers on a project site, providing first aid and medical treatment in case of injury or illness, and helping to maintain a healthy work environment. They also assist with emergency preparedness, health screening, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (RN), or relevant qualification in nursing.
• Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant jurisdiction. Additional certifications in first aid, CPR, or occupational health may be required.
• Experience: Experience in emergency nursing, occupational health, or field healthcare is preferred, especially in industrial or construction settings.

Skills:

• Strong first-aid and emergency care skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to construction sites or industrial environments.
• Ability to remain calm and take quick, effective action in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with workers, site managers, and external healthcare providers.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-risk, fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Work Environment: Work is typically based on a construction site or industrial setting, which may be outdoors or in challenging environmental conditions (e.g., dust, noise, heavy machinery).
• Physical Demands: The role may require standing for extended periods, carrying medical equipment, and responding to emergencies in physically demanding conditions.
