As a CAD Specialist at DB&B, you will create accurate CAD drawings and plans, ensuring designs are feasible, compliant with regulations, and clearly communicated to stakeholders. Your role will involve providing technical support and documentation to ensure smooth project execution.

Job Scope:

• Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections and other technical drawings using CAD software to support interior design projects.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentations to accompany design drawings, including material specifications, finishes and installation.
• Work closely with the interior designers and project team to understand design requirements and translate them into CAD drawings.
• Utilise CAD software such as AutoCAD or other relevant programs such as SketchUp to create and manage design documents.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial interior design experience with a minimum diploma in Interior Design or related field.
• Proficient in CAD and SketchUp software and a strong understanding of drafting techniques and interior design principles.
• High level of attention to details to ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings and documentations.
• Able to interpret and translate design concepts into technical drawings.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues related to design and drafting, ensuring that solutions meet project requirements.
