Description
- Transporting goods to designated locations safely and efficiently.
- Inspecting vehicles for safety and maintenance needs.
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and reports.
- Adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Completing required paperwork for each delivery.
- Collaborating with warehouse staff for efficient operations.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience Level: Previous experience as a delivery driver is an asset.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient driving skills, knowledge of vehicle maintenance, and familiarity with road transportation routes.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Safely transport goods, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate delivery logs.
- Working Conditions: Frequent outdoor work in various weather conditions, long hours on the road.
- Qualities and Traits: Must be responsible, punctual, and possess excellent time management skills.
