Description

The Vendor Debits Senior Associate plays a key role in supporting the Credit Management function by handling vendor debit transactions and ensuring compliance with established financial policies and processes. Leveraging growing expertise in credit management, this role contributes to achieving service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) while delivering high-quality and cost-effective financial services. The associate supports process improvements, drives operational efficiency, and ensures customer-focused service delivery.


  • Execute standard credit management transactions, including customer order hold and release.
  • Manage and process vendor debit entries accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist experienced finance specialists with progress reporting, task management, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.
  • Monitor and report on vendor debit activities to ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify issues requiring escalation and ensure timely communication to management.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in finance administration, credit management, or related roles.
  • Experience with high-volume transaction handling is preferred.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with ERP or financial systems is an advantage.


Soft Skills:

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with regular supervision.
  • Strong team player with stakeholder management capability.
