Description

  • The Finance Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. This includes maintaining financial records, preparing reports, assisting with budgeting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting audits and financial planning activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the development, monitoring, and review of budgets.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and timely response.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations.
  • Process payroll and manage employee reimbursements as applicable.
  • Coordinate with departments to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Monitor cash flow and banking operations.
  • Recommend cost reduction strategies and support decision-making with financial insights.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar financial role (2+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and integrity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
