What we are looking for:

At eFlexervices, we are hiring for a Senior Accountant. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for participating in the month-end close process, preparing journals in line with US GAAP, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and report preparation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times. Experience working with payroll reconciliations is preferred but not required.

This position is expected to start by late November 2025.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare month-end journals, including payroll, banking, various accruals, and other company transactions based on review of supporting reconciliations and schedules.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting under US GAAP (including account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and preparing inputs to month-end reports, including financial analysis and commentary).
• Coordinate schedules for fixed asset depreciation and amortizable items.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document asset write-offs.
• Assist with payroll accruals, ensuring accurate reconciliation and addressing discrepancies promptly.
• Participate in financial audits and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Partner with accounts payable, accounts receivable, company payables, Financial Planning & Analysis, and payroll teams to resolve variances or discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank statements, translate them into the appropriate journal entry, and upload them into the company accounting system.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Work with multiple key stakeholders to understand acquisition accounting methods and assist with developing standard processes to enable uniformity and quicker, more efficient accounting close.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of financial statements
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interrogate high volumes of data while also focusing on higher-level overviews
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to develop standard operating procedures
• Strong experience with financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times
