Description
- Attends meeting with account executive to determine requirements for designs. - Quality
- Sketch out ideas or create renderings, which are images on paper or on a computer that provide a better visual of design ideas. OTD and Quality
- Use computer software to develop virtual models of different designs. - OTD and Quality
- Validate physical prototypes of their designs. Quality No rework
- Examine materials and production costs to determine manufacturing requirements. = Cost saving
- Work with other departments to evaluate whether their design concepts will fill a need at a reasonable cost.
- Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical.
- Ensure Design are mass pro friendly
- Create TD and cutting path and ensure dimensions are correct.
