OVERVIEW

The Head of Finance and Accounting will oversee the company’s end-to-end financial strategy, planning, and operations. This role is vital in ensuring financial sustainability, driving data-informed decision-making, and maintaining compliance across all fiscal activities. The position includes managing financial controls and reports, cash flow, budget preparation and monitoring, and release of commissions, while also ensuring organizational directions to sustain its objectives and vision.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong advantage

Professional Experience

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance

  • Minimum of 5 years in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role

  • Industry experience in real estate development is highly preferred

Technical Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and best practices

  • Proficient in preparing and analyzing financial reports

  • Strong understanding of general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing processes

  • Familiarity with BIR regulatory requirements and tax compliance

  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Leadership & Communication

  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and leadership capabilities

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino

  • Effective team manager with the ability to lead cross-functional teams

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making on risk management, growth strategies, and operational efficiency

  • Lead the development and implementation of short-, medium-, and long-term financial plans, including income targets, expense controls, and capital allocation

  • Oversee the creation of financial models, forecasts, and scenario planning aligned with business objectives

  • Present comprehensive and accurate financial statements and performance reports to Directors and stakeholders

  • Recommend financial strategies to enhance profitability and seize new business opportunities

  • Implement and monitor robust internal financial controls to ensure accuracy and mitigate financial risk

  • Support enterprise-wide initiatives such as sustainability efforts, digital transformation, and operational innovation

Financial Operations & Compliance

  • Direct all core financial operations including budgeting, reporting, disbursements, collections, and audits

  • Ensure timely and compliant filing of BIR forms (VAT, ITR, EWT, DST, etc.)

  • Oversee and ensure the 100% collection of customer equity payments

  • Manage the accurate release of commissions, disbursement checks, payroll, and government contributions

  • Ensure strict compliance with SEC, BIR, LGU, and all applicable government regulations

  • Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory agencies as necessary

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

Set-Up: On-Site 

Location: Evangelista St., Makati City 

Hours: 9AM to 6PM (Monday to Friday)

Salary Range: Php 120,000 to Php 150,000
