Description
- Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Assist chefs in meal preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and manage inventory.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support chefs with ingredient sourcing and storage.
- Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Participate in inventory management and supply ordering.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong organizational skills, ability to follow instructions, and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for long hours, and possible exposure to heat and noise.
- Qualities and Traits: Team player, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
