Description
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, and pans.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, storage areas, and garbage disposal.
- Operate dishwashing machines and handle manual washing when necessary.
- Ensure proper segregation and disposal of kitchen waste according to hotel standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service hours as needed.
- Uphold hotel safety and sanitation policies at all times.
- At least High School graduate; vocational training in Food & Beverage or related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a kitchen steward, dishwasher, or utility worker preferred (but not required).
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible schedules (weekends/holidays).
- Physically fit, hardworking, and reliable.
- Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude.
