Key Responsibilities

● Develop and Deploy AI Solutions: Leverage OpenAI and Anthropic APIs to build robust language model applications, focusing on function/tool calling and dynamic task execution.

● LLM-Based Applications: Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and other advanced techniques to enhance model responses with real-time and domain-specific data.

● API & Backend Integration: Design, build, and optimize APIs and backend systems for seamless integration with AI models.

● End-to-End Development: Create front-end and back-end components using TypeScript and modern web technologies (e.g., React, Node.js) to deliver scalable AI-powered solutions.

● Performance & Reliability: Conduct performance tuning and implement error-handling strategies to ensure stable, efficient AI-driven applications.

● Collaboration: Work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to identify requirements and integrate AI functionalities into existing services.

● Stay Current: Keep up to date with emerging research, tools, and frameworks—especially those related to LLMs, agentic frameworks, and SDK development (e.g., Vercel AI SDK).

● Production Delivery: Ensure at least one successfully shipped production application, demonstrating proven end-to-end delivery of AI solutions.

Qualifications

● Demonstrable Experience with LLM APIs: Proven track record building applications that leverage OpenAI and/or Anthropic APIs.

● Advanced TypeScript Expertise: Required; must have strong proficiency in TypeScript for both front-end and back-end development.

● LLM & Tool Calling Knowledge: Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), function/tool calling, and RAG techniques.

● Production Experience: Must have built, integrated, and shipped at least one production-level AI application.

● Services, APIs, SDK Development: Advanced past experience designing and integrating services, APIs, and/or SDKs in commercial or enterprise environments is highly preferred.

● Cloud Platforms: Intermediate to advanced skills deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP are preferred.

● Version Control & CI/CD: Solid understanding of Git-based workflows and continuous integration/continuous deployment.

● Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication/collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred Skills

● LLM Fine-Tuning: Hands-on experience fine-tuning Large Language Models.

● Agent Frameworks & SDKs: Familiarity with agentic frameworks, such as Langchain, GraphLang, or AI SDK by Vercel, for building AI agents, AI Agent toolkits, and services.

● Commercial & Enterprise APIs: Experience building and integrating with commercial or enterprise-grade APIs (e.g., travel, delivery, e-commerce, payments, Google Workspace, streaming media, etc.).

● Automation Platforms: Background using automation platforms (Zapier, UiPath, Automate.io, etc.).

● Advanced AI Concepts: Understanding of memory/stateful architectures, knowledge graphs, neural networks, chain-of-thought, caching, embeddings, long-running processes, workflows, and other agentic frameworks.
