Description

  • This position primarily focuses on organizing, streamlining, and overseeing the onboarding process for new hires, as well as providing ongoing learning opportunities for all other contractors as required. The Learning and Development Partner plays a crucial role in communicating company and job specifics to new hires, ensuring they have a smooth and comprehensive onboarding experience. This sets the stage for new hires to seamlessly transition into delivering exceptional client support once assigned.
  • Execute the 30-60-90 immersion plan for new hires.
  • Conducts and executes the new hire onboarding training program.
  • Ensures new hire engagement from Day 1 of hiring.
  • Identifies and assesses future and current training needs through needs analysis, quality framework and feedback loop methodology.
  • Maintains a keen understanding of operational training trends, development, and best practices.
  • Create engaging training materials, including presentations, videos, e-learning modules, and job aids, tailored to the needs of remote learners.
  • Deliver live virtual training sessions using video conferencing platforms, ensuring interactivity, engagement, and effective knowledge transfer.
  • Facilitate virtual workshops, discussions, and simulations to reinforce learning objectives and promote skill development.
  • Oversees new hires, continuing education, program - specific training and other learning sessions needed by the business.
  • Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather input, update training content, and address emerging training needs.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to remote employees to enhance their performance and professional growth.
  • Stay current on remote training best practices, industry trends, and technological advancements, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve our training programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and learner progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Actively participates with Product team during new discovery, pre and post launch.
  • Performs and gathers a new hire onboarding survey from the first touch point to the final evaluation period. This will be done on a 90 day milestone and an annual survey.
  • Any other responsibilities that your immediate manager may assign relevant to the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus, not required).
  • Proven experience as a trainer or instructional designer, with a focus on remote or virtual training delivery.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proficiency in using virtual training platforms, video conferencing tools, and multimedia authoring software.
  • Ability to adapt training content and delivery methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to accommodate different time zones and schedules when delivering training to remote employees.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with remote learners, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Certification in training, instructional design, or related fields (e.g., CPLP, CPTM, ATD, or equivalent) is a plus.
