Description

  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research using online databases, law libraries, and other resources. Summarize and analyze research findings.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, correspondence, and reports.
  • Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, and manage discovery.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress (under the supervision of an attorney).
  • Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other government agencies.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Due Diligence: Assist with legal due diligence reviews by gathering and organizing relevant documents.
  • Compliance: Assist in ensuring the company's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Other Duties: Perform other paralegal duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree holder or not
  • Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant (fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Skills:
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Professional and ethical conduct.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with legal case management software.
  • Knowledge of Philippine legal procedures.
  • Familiarity with specific areas of law relevant to the company corp law.
