Job Description.
Position: Phone Sales - Lending Specialist
This position is best suited to an energetic self-starter. Someone who is an outgoing
and positive person, and who is eager to assist our small business clients, and find
financial solutions for them.
It’s important that you are a clear speaker and clear communicator, and have a
friendly and helpful phone manner.
This Position is a Dual Role
- Inbound Calls – Taking inbound calls from Australia and New Zealand
business owners for our various different brands. These calls will mainly be
new loan enquiries, and the objective is to qualify the caller on the phone and
if the loan enquiry fits our lending criteria, get their details over the phone and
enter the client information into the correct application form in our CRM.
- From there, you will be required to issue a Conditional Approval for the client.
Once the client digitally signs the Condition Approval (as acceptance of the
loan terms offered) and automatically paid the small Assessment Fee by
credit card as part of the same process, and the Credit Team will take it from
there.
As you get paid when the loan gets funded, you will have complete visibility of
the progress of the loan. You may also be required to follow up your client if
more information is required, or if they become difficult to contact.
- Outbound Sales Calls – This is all about calling old leads to see if there is
any way we can still assist them with finance. If there is, get their details
down over the phone and enter the client information into the correct
application form inside the CRM, and it becomes a continuation of Step 2.
BONUSES. There are 3 to enjoy.
- You get paid a bonus of 1000 PHP for every paid and accepted
Conditional Approval. (one loans where applicable)
- You also receive a bonus on every funded loan, calculated on the size of
each loan.
- There is also a Team Bonus which is shared by all Sales Staff, once
certain targets are met each month, which helps encourage teamwork,
and helping each other with one anothers loan files.
Bonuses are Paid Monthly
Duties Include
- Enthusiastically handling inbound customer calls (loan enquiries)
- Using sales skills to convert leads into Loan Applications, and in to funded
loans
- Actively doing prompt and regular client follow ups during the loan process
- Monitoring active loan files on behalf of clients
- Ongoing and continuous learning of the loan products we provide, so you can
best serve new clients when they call
- Keeping accurate and immediate records of calls and actions on client files,
inside the CRM
- Monitoring emails and other notifications in real time
- Assist with the management of loan applicants and loan files, as directed by
your manager.
- Making outbound calls to current clients and to past clients and clients on old
databases
Hours: 40 hours per week, rostered between the operating hours of - Monday to
Friday between 7.00am and 6.00pm AEST (Melbourne AU time)
Location: Philippines – IN OFFICE only
Required Skills
- Basic Microsoft products suite – eg: Outlook, word etc
- Good communication skills including
- the ability to listen attentively to clients
- identify clues that could identify client needs
- Be able to ‘close a sale’
- Be a ‘Team Player’
- Have a balance of a warm and friendly personality and have a sense of
humour, and also maintain a professional demeanour
- Have a strong work ethic
- Display a positive and friendly phone manner
- Have an eye for detail
- Accuracy in record keeping
- Take ownership of your clients so they think of You when they need finance
again
- Not be afraid to jump in and cold call past clients
- Finance industry experience preferred but not essential
- Some social media & marketing experience preferred but not essential, in
order to work your own LinkedIn profile.
- Must be highly organised and can work at a fast pace.
- A willingness to enthusiastically learn the Australia and NZ culture, so as to be
able to better relate to your clients, which will help deliver better results for
you.

We provide phone scripts, and full training on our Zoom Phone system, our CRM,
and information on our loans products.
We also have a generous bonus system.
Regular online meetings will be held with your colleagues (the sales / customer
service) team at Head Office in Australia.

Being a Lending Specialist with one of one of Australia and New Zealands
most established private business lenders is very rewarding.
Full training is provided, and in time, the successful applicant can use this new vast
knowledge to become a finance "solution finder" for clients who call up with a wide

solution.
