Position: Line Cook (Mediterranean Cuisine)


We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our culinary team specializing in Mediterranean cuisine. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing and cooking authentic dishes using traditional recipes and fresh ingredients, ensuring every meal reflects the rich flavors and standards of Mediterranean dining.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Mediterranean-inspired menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation of the kitchen and workstations at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management, including checking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure timely service and a high-quality dining experience.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations related to food preparation, handling, and storage.


Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 6 months of experience in a professional kitchen (experience with Mediterranean or similar cuisines preferred).


Skills and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with Mediterranean ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques (e.g., grilling, roasting, use of olive oil, herbs, and spices).
  • Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.


Qualities and Traits:

  • Know about Mediterranean food and culture.
  • Self-starter with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Customer-oriented and capable of working efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
