Job Description:

As a Local Healthcare Account Associate, you will support healthcare clients by handling patient inquiries, insurance claims, medical billing, appointment scheduling, and other administrative tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Support:
• Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients regarding appointments, billing, and general inquiries.
• Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and claims status.
• Medical Billing & Claims Processing:
• Review and process medical insurance claims according to client and payer guidelines.
• Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and coverage with insurance providers.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and denials.
• Data Entry & Records Management:
• Accurately input and update patient information in the system.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive medical records in compliance with HIPAA or local data privacy regulations.
• Appointment Scheduling:
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments using healthcare management systems.
• Coordinate with clinics and physicians for appointment availability.
• Customer Service:
• Resolve issues and escalate complex concerns to supervisors or healthcare providers.
• Provide empathetic and clear communication to patients and healthcare personnel.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Adhere to healthcare guidelines, local laws, and company policies.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on compliance and process changes.
