Description
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify problems.
- Replace worn or damaged parts efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs to clients.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with a specialized diploma in mechanics or automotive technology.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of hands-on experience in automotive repair or maintenance.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, basic mechanical skills, and understanding of vehicle systems.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Conduct repairs, perform routine maintenance, and inspect vehicles for safety and performance.
- Working Conditions: May involve working in a garage or shop environment, with exposure to noise, heat, and mechanical hazards.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team.
