The Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative, secretarial and clerical support to Facility Manager to maintain an efficient implementation and execution of EHS and facility programs. Assist in providing EHS & facility support to our company's employees, assessing safety & health risks, support prevention of occupational illnesses or injuries. The Facility Admin should collaborate with the Facility Manager in promoting EHS programs among employees at regular intervals, keeping records of trainings and maintaining good communication with stakeholders regarding EHS & facilities. The Facility Admin is responsible for delivering consistently high EHS and facility customer services to internal and external customers. The role is also responsible for assisting in permitting and licensing requirements of the site.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Administration
Maintain supplies and EHS consumables by checking stock levels on a regular basis and sourcing items as required
Assist in the issuance of Crown EHS related permits to contractors and stakeholders
Maintain efficient office filing and storage systems
Accurately and efficiently type documents, reports and correspondence
Coordinate providers engaged in cleaning, maintenance and repairs
Acts as a support liaison officer in EHS permits and license renewal and applications
Environment Health & Safety
Assist in the conduct of facility walk arounds in identifying hazards and risks
Act as a secondary safety officer for the site
Support in the implementation of the site IMS
Assist in the conduct of EHS training for employees and contractors
Corporate Social Responsibility
Support the company CSR commitment and goals
Other
Adhoc duties as assigned by the Facility Manager

Ability to provide first aid services and dispensing of medicines to Crown employees.
Assist in dispensing nonprescription required medicine for emergency purposes.
Documentation of incidences and all employee injuries and illnesses and keep this information confidential.
Professional Knowledge and Skills
Excellent knowledge and skill in addressing EHS legal & Crown related issues in the workplace.
Should be able to assess the work environment and identify any work hazards and plan intervention programs accordingly.
Developed administration and organization skills with high attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher or equivalent
Communication skills
Cultural sensitivity and awareness
Qualifications
Bachelor's/College Degree or equivalent Secondary education certificate, or equivalent
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field
PCO or Safety Officer or Employees specializing in
EHS Support & Assistant or equivalent.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
