Description
- Teach debate skills to grades K - 5 following certain materials
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons using provided materials and teaching strategies.
- Provide constructive feedback on students’ speech content, delivery, and critical thinking skills.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (graduate degree preferred). Current college students are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strongly preferred: Prior public speaking, debate, or coaching experience.
- Strongly preferred: Experience teaching or coaching elementary-aged students.
- Degree in Communication, Political Science, Education, Psychology, or related fields is preferred.
