Job Description

Role Overview

  • This is an operational leadership role with a bit of everything: compliance, admin, people coordination, and vendor management. You’ll work closely with our executive team in Australia to ensure our Philippines operations are compliant, efficient, and aligned with our broader goals. You're the glue that holds it together — the local point of contact for day-to-day operations, and the driving force behind seamless collaboration across our global team.


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Admin

  • Oversee general office/admin operations for the PH team (currently fully
  • remote)
  • Manage relationships with local vendors: HR consultants, legal advisors, payroll providers, government agencies, etc.
  • Ensure team equipment, tools, systems, and subscriptions are working and well-managed

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure PH operations are compliant with local labor laws and regulations
  • Coordinate with legal, accounting, and HR advisors as needed for registrations, audits, and ongoing obligations
  • Maintain internal documentation, contracts, and records

People & Culture

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding of PH staff
  • Monitor team engagement, handle first-level people issues, and promote a positive team culture
  • Organize team-building, training, and development initiatives

Executive Support & Coordination

  • Act as liaison between the PH team and AU leadership
  • Provide operational support to the CEO and other leaders (e.g. reporting, follow-ups, coordination)
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to boost productivity and morale


Qualifications

  • 3+ years in operations, admin management, or generalist HR within a PH-based BPO or remote-first company
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine employment law and compliance
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills — written and verbal
  • Experience managing external partners (HR, legal, payroll, tech support, etc.)
  • Highly organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
  • Experience working with Australian businesses or clients
  • Exposure to remote/hybrid workplace setups
  • Familiarity with recruitment, team building, or culture-building activities
  • A candidate with hands-on experience running day-to-day Philippine operations and company admin (payroll, HR, vendor management, government compliance, contracts, banking).
  • Strong ability to coordinate with external partners (legal, payroll providers, external accountants).
  • Someone comfortable in a lean setup — rolling up their sleeves, handling details, and working independently.
