Responsible to assist in gaining and maintaining the security standards accreditation and certification as and best practices ISO/IEC 27001 and PCI DSS
Identifying vulnerabilities in our current network
Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure computing network and services
Monitoring network usage to ensure compliance with security policies
Keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats
Performing penetration tests to find any flaws
Collaborating with management and the IT department to improve security
Documenting any security breaches and assessing their damage
Educating colleagues about security software and best practices for information security through security awareness programs
Developing and administering system and information ownership, information and data classification guidelines, standards and procedures
Reviewing compliances to security standards accreditation and certification
Conduct the information security risk assessment program
Manage all activities of the SOC (or security team)
Provide vision and strategy for the team’s people, processes, technology
Hire security personnel and manage career development
Develop alert handling procedures
Develop incident response plans
Analyze and optimize workflows, including automation and orchestration
Communicate security needs to the rest of the organization
Budget and forecast for security spend (especially if no CISO exists)

Degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field
Professional information security certifications
Good background and experience in an information security role (5 years and above)
Solid knowledge of various information security frameworks
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to educate a non-technical audience about various security measures
Effective verbal and written communication skills
