Description
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for various applications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications.
- Measure and cut pipe to required lengths.
- Assemble and install valves, fittings, and related components.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members on projects.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on piping systems.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in pipefitting or related fields.
- NC I and NCII
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in reading blueprints, strong mechanical skills, and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Install and repair piping systems, ensure compliance with regulations, and perform routine inspections.
- Working Conditions: May work in various environments including construction sites and factories, often requiring physical labor.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
