Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Implement and monitor food safety protocols to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Process Optimization & Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements, Lean Manufacturing principles, and automation opportunities to enhance throughput, reduce waste, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Quality & Food Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce strict GMP, HACCP, and other relevant food safety protocols. Serve as the primary point for audits and certifications.
• Lead process optimization initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage supply chain activities including procurement and logistics to ensure timely product delivery.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with Procurement and Logistics to ensure raw material availability and finished goods inventory is managed effectively.
• Develop training programs for staff on operational best practices and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall operational workflows and performance.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience Level: 10+ years of experience in production management within the food industry and preferably within food & beverage or coffee roasting.
• Skills and Competencies: Proficient in Food Safety Protocols, FSSC 22000, HACCP, Supply Chain Management, Process Optimization, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Qualities and Traits: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.
• Responsibilities and Duties: Proven track record in managing operations, developing staff, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Working Conditions: Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment compliant with safety standards.
