• Full-Time Homebased Job
• The Permit/Solar Designer is responsible for processing and submitting solar permit applications for our client with an AHJ jurisdictions.
• Utilize Helioscope/PVSyst as well as AutoCAD/Revit (or any related design software) to create initial layouts for the solar projects for Residential, Commercial & Industrial.
• Interpret civil and structural documents to assist in the design process
• Design major and minor modifications to electrical systems to help incorporate installation of solar projects
• Complete electrical design including line drawings for solar projects.
• Develop system design concepts along with the scope documents using PSI standards (drawings and specs)
• Finalize the electrical system design and prepare construction documents.
• Has his/her own laptop or PC
• with reliable internet connection
• Experienced in any software (Helioscope/PVSyst/AutoCAD/Revit)
• Well-versed in design and layout of solar for Residential, Commercial & Industrial
