Core Job Responsibilities:
1. Strategy and Execution
Develop a targeted PR roadmap that aligns the distinctive traits of the Korean crypto market (high user engagement, policy sensitivity, etc.) with overall brand strategy. Cover media relations, event marketing, and reputation building. Oversee end-to-end execution, performance tracking, and retrospective analysis.
2. Media Relationship Management
Build and maintain a database of over 300 key Korean media outlets across finance, technology, and blockchain verticals. Conduct regular outreach to secure high-quality earned media coverage.
3. Content Creation and Oversight
Lead the development of PR materials—press releases, media advisories, technical and policy analyses—ensuring alignment with local context and brand voice. Review external partner content for professionalism and consistency.
4. KOL and Community Collaboration
Establish and manage relationships with Korean crypto KOLs on platforms such as YouTube and Twitter. Design partnership programs and sponsored content. Collaborate with local communities to execute PR initiatives that boost user engagement and brand loyalty.
5. Event and Crisis Management
Plan and execute offline PR events, including industry summits, media salons, and community meetups. Implement an early-warning and response framework to address media inquiries and negative sentiment swiftly, mitigating brand risk.
6. Market Monitoring and Data Analysis
Continuously track Korean crypto market trends, regulatory developments (e.g., spot ETFs, stablecoin policies), and competitor PR activities. Produce regular analytical reports. Monitor campaign metrics—reach, positive coverage ratio, sentiment trends—to inform data-driven strategy adjustments.
Job Requirements:
1. Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Marketing, Communications, International Business, or related fields.
2. Experience & Competence
1–3 years of PR experience in the Korean market, with at least 2 years in crypto, blockchain, or fintech. Deep familiarity with local media ecosystems and crypto community dynamics.
3. Resources & Vision
Established network of Korean media contacts and KOLs, enabling rapid collaboration. Strong understanding of Korean crypto user behavior, cultural nuances, and regulatory sensitivities.
4. Language & Communication
Native-level Korean proficiency. Fluent in English (or Chinese) for professional use. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at cross-cultural dialogue.
5. Core Competencies
Strong project management, data analysis, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving crypto environment. Results-driven with high stress tolerance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven success in major Korean crypto project launches (e.g., product rollouts, ETF-related PR) or crisis management cases.
• Solid grasp of blockchain technology, enabling precise interpretation and dissemination of technical content.
• Familiarity with Korea’s current crypto regulatory framework (digital asset oversight, KRW stablecoin policies) is a plus.
