  • The Purchasing Staff is responsible for procuring materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for the company's operation. This role ensures that all purchases are made in a cost-effective and timely manner, adhering to company standards and product specifications. The Purchasing Staff will work closely with suppliers, negotiating to a client product request with rapport and monitor inventory levels to support the company production and operational needs.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Request and review quotations, proposals, and bids.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous deals.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and production departments to ensure timely supply of materials.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Address and resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions and activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost-reduction strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Work closely with the production, engineering, and finance department to understand material requirements and budget constraints.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support company projects and initiatives.
  • College Graduate/bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing procurement field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software such as quick books.
  • Willing to work around Mandaluyong City.
