JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing staff member to manage end-to-end procurement processes. This role includes processing purchase requests, sourcing and evaluating suppliers, coordination with internal teams for approvals, and handling documentation. It also involves site visits to facilitate contractor bidding for 3S shop projects.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor the Navision system and process purchase request assigned and accomplished in a given IMS standard timeline.
  • Initiate supplier sourcing and accreditation, conduct office and production visits for checking/rating and assessment.
  • Onsite evaluation – visitation to 3S shop construction site as needed by the requestor to check on the service rendered and deliverables on site.
  • Coordinate with creatives team and requestor regarding artwork and design and communicate to supplier for sample proofing and approval.
  • Facilitate bidding by submitting layout of approved proposed site of new and upgrade Yamaha 3S Shops to possible contractors.
  • Check and review cost estimate and seek approval within section and then submit to DND for approval and preparation of dealer investment.
  • Prepare a canvass report, create purchase order (PO) and provide needed supporting documents in accordance to company policies and procedures.
  • Issued Job Order (JO) to those engagement that are under principal/mother contract every individual projects.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any course.
  • Have working experience in purchasing, inventory, or administrative work, preferably in construction industry.
  • Preferably adept with MS applications, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Must be willing to be assigned in Greenfield District, Mandaluyong.
